Rhodesian SAS badge with Rhodesian manufacturers mark to slider in Bi. Formed in 1950 as C Sqn. Malayan Scouts. They were to see service in Malaya and Borneo as well as Aden. The unit was committed in Rhodesia during the insurgency. Original badge on correct long slider.

A rare officers badge of this South African black unit raised in 1915,  only 2 Battalions strong who saw service outside of S.A. It appears to be a light bronze rather than gilt with two strong and original loops to the reverse. High points polished but otherwise G.C.
